JOB DESCRIPTION: Meineke Car Care a Driven Brands company is currently seeking a Director of Operations to add to our team! The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach. With 800 franchise locations across North America, this is a fast-paced position which will demand that you bring energy, execution, and your “A” game to work each day. You will be responsible for leading a team of regional teammates within assigned territories. In addition to training, educating, and performance managing your team on operational excellence, you will be challenged to advise and support franchisees within your teams’ territories. Our ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, building relationships, problem solving, and is proficient in utilizing data and analytics to manage key metrics. Responsibilities: Works with Leadership, Training, Planning, Finance, Marketing, and other parts of the business to promote operational excellence through various means, including metrics management, analyses of business results, customer segmentation, goal setting, and coaching. May be involved in the design and implementation of the activity statements of the Representatives and design of incentives plans. Generally, oversees the work of at least two (2) professional (exempt) individual contributors or supervisors in the tactical execution of a department of sub-department goals. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions both inside and outside you team. Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. Establishes annual goals and manages people, work and outcomes to meet those goals, usually measuring progress and making course corrections on a monthly to quarterly basis; determines and allocates resources. Utilize technology to train and drive productivity and business results within your team and the organization. Qualifications: A minimum of 7 years progressive operations management experience in automotive or franchise facing fields. 3 years of multi-unit management experience preferred. Proven track record in managing and hitting operational and financial targets. Excellent leadership and team building skills. Strong understanding of technology and ability to operate point of sale systems used in locations and Microsoft Office suite preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to travel within assigned markets approximately 40%. #LI-KD1 #LI-remote DBCORP Position Location: North Carolina Compensation Range: $7.25 - $205,100.00 Compensation Frequency: Annual Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
